Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardinho de Barros started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Piaui's Bernardinho de Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zsigmond Pál narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Luís Castro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. George Buzoianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Pimenta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Buzoianu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Piaui getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Erivaldo de Lima hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Iosif Gurlui sped through Piaui's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabiano Pimenta. George Buzoianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Fabiano Pimenta made a huge save. George Buzoianu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Fabiano Pimenta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Iosif Gurlui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Fabiano Pimenta was a little too slow when George Buzoianu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 5-0. 37 minutes into the game, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s George Buzoianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 40 minutes in the game, George Buzoianu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabiano Pimenta having to interfere. George Buzoianu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. George Buzoianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Pimenta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Buzoianu ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Buzoianu to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Piaui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. George Buzoianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Pimenta having to interfere. A collision led to Piaui getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erivaldo de Lima hit a great ball. Fabiano Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Buzoianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Iosif Gurlui made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Pimenta. Piaui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 66th minute, Iosif Gurlui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Baia Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. A collision led to F.C. Baia Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Manuel Tărbac hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that George Buzoianu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Pimenta was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Fabiano Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iosif Gurlui went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. When F.C. Erivaldo de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erivaldo de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of F.C. Baia Mare -MM- booed when Piaui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Iosif Gurlui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Pimenta. Piaui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iosif Gurlui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. Baia Mare -MM- had played much better football throughout.
