With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Arnaldo Idacio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Freddy Sein. The goal made the score 2-0. With his leg Freddy Sein managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in CAM Football Club's zone, Claus Wüllbier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Theodore came out of the goal and Claus Wüllbier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes Sporting Angola's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernabe Llorienzo who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Kelemen got free with Freddy Sein in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CAM Football Club.
