Octavian Jähnigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Carvalho in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper Octavian Jähnigen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Valladares. Edu Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Octavian Jähnigen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 13 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Kürşat Aurelio came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Edu Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Jähnigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lam Baril, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hansjörg Wastl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jânio Donatello might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hansjörg Wastl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jânio Donatello ran back to his position shaking his head. Octavian Jähnigen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Jähnigen narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
