Fausto De Bonis came out of the goal and Mauro Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Schuster made a substitution. Fernando Morientes replaced Flavio Miconi. Fausto De Bonis came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Schuster's Mauro Bezerra. But to his dismay, Mauro Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. LATIUM's Attilio De Tommasi was substituted for Cristoforo Caiola. Fausto De Bonis made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Mauro Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Schuster's Mauro Bezerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto De Bonis. Fausto De Bonis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Bezerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 94 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Schuster eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
