Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessio Zoccali kicked off to start the match. Göksel Taşdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Rotili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Darrel Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Zoccali in the 15th minute of play. Alessio Tarquini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alessio Zoccali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Puianello FC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Boldrini. A collision led to Puianello FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fortunato Boldrini hit a great ball. Alessio Zoccali might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darrel Pennington. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Zoccali ran back to his position shaking his head. Darrel Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Zoccali in the 27th minute of play. Alessio Zoccali took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darrel Pennington. Darrel Pennington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Mazzone, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darrel Pennington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 41st minute of play forced Puianello FC's goalkeeper Darrel Pennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcell Jacobs made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alessio Tarquini immediately put the ball in play. Edmondo Giorda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Puianello FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.S. Udinese were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göksel Taşdan to make the kick off. Darrel Pennington was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ercole Fiorentino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 74 minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Göksel Taşdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Rotili. A.S. Udinese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göksel Taşdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 83 minutes into the game, Tom Pervik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Puianello FC's Damiano Renzetti quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puianello FC's goalkeeper Darrel Pennington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göksel Taşdan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Rotili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes A.S. Udinese's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francesco Coscia who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Puianello FC's Carlo Mazzone to a score. 3-3 in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ercole Fiorentino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Darrel Pennington. That made the score 3-4 in the 92 minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, A.S. Udinese's Alberigo Di Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darrel Pennington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.S. Udinese eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
