Alessio Punta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Marchegiani having to make a save. In the 3rd minute Alessio Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Marchegiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Casette's Achille Toccaceli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugenio Lorenzi. Eugenio Lorenzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fortunato Moschetta hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Alberto Marchegiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Punta in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Casette's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Punta came free, but Alberto Marchegiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Marchegiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Punta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Marchegiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Punta in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Scandella in the 24th minute of play forced Juventus F.C.'s goalkeeper Eugenio Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alessio Punta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Marchegiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Punta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Casette's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Isias was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventus F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Eugenio Lorenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercole Scandella in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Juventus F.C.'s Alessio Punta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Marchegiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Alessio Punta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Marchegiani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Coscia in the 47th minute of play forced Juventus F.C.'s goalkeeper Eugenio Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Punta to make the kick off. A collision led to Casette getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Fortunato Moschetta hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Zlatan Winger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatan Winger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute Alessandro Coscia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Lorenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Alessio Punta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Marchegiani. The goal made the score 1-3. Eugenio Lorenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Coscia in the 61st minute of play. Alberto Marchegiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessio Punta's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Eugenio Lorenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Toccaceli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Davide Sciarretta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Lorenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Punta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Casette's goalkeeper Alberto Marchegiani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Punta. Juventus F.C. made a substitution. Claudio Caniggia replaced Alessio Punta. After 76 minutes Casette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Isias who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Anselmo De Toni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Casette's Alberto Marchegiani did a great save. Alberto Marchegiani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Caniggia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Casette's goalkeeper Alberto Marchegiani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Napierkowski. If Carlo Citrullo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Caniggia in the 89th minute of play forced Casette's goalkeeper Alberto Marchegiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Marchegiani came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus F.C.'s Claudio Caniggia. But to his dismay, Claudio Caniggia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Eugenio Lorenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Sciarretta in the 96th minute of play. The Casette supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juventus F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Juventus F.C..
