The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mauro Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Motta Rello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Bezerra. Schuster's Donato Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Giusto in the 15th minute of play. After 17 played minutes San Michele AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Giusto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsamettin Civanmert in the 28th minute of play forced Schuster's goalkeeper Donato Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Schuster's Donato Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Tome in the 34th minute of play. Donato Ali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hüsamettin Civanmert's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Motta Rello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Bezerra. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüsamettin Civanmert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Musko Cuevas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Motta Rello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Bezerra in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Schuster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musko Cuevas to maneuver through the defense. Schuster's Richy Hensmans was substituted for Musko Cuevas. The supporters of San Michele AFC booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Musko Cuevas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniele Sacchi charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Sacchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Michele AFC booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Sacchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Motta Rello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of San Michele AFC booed when Schuster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Morientes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Schuster's Donato Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Kinic in the 81st minute of play. Fernando Morientes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Motta Rello having to interfere. In the 86th minute Saul Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Motta Rello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Piarres in the 89th minute of play forced San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Motta Rello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Kinic in the 90th minute of the match. Motta Rello came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Schuster's Richy Hensmans. But to his dismay, Richy Hensmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The San Michele AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Schuster from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
