When Rodrigo Bearden fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Rodrigo Bearden a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodrigo Bearden got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Philipp Van Kestbeek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Philipp Van Kestbeek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guilherme Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute of the game Joery Hylen made a throw-in which Eustaquio Bartoli played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 23rd minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC Klavertje Vier's zone, Larry Cermak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zabulón Carabajal came out of the goal and Larry Cermak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sol Bartlett made a great header on Racing Miami Futbol Club's corner, it was just that FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal managed to reach the ball for a save. 40 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Zabulón Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson made a precise shot to the right of Zabulón Carabajal. FC Klavertje Vier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lars Lecointre hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Guilherme Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Eustaquio Bartoli came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the FC Klavertje Vier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Bartoli couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Kemen came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zabulón Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Rodney Hagen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodney Hagen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Pierre Gebuers replaced Armağan Yörük. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Kemen in the 61st minute of the match. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Trey Echols was substituted for Rodney Hagen. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Chance Adams replaced Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. In the 67th minute of the match Racing Miami Futbol Club got a corner. FC Klavertje Vier's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xu Yuan Lin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodrigo Bearden getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 69th minute of play. Joos Horemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Veiga having to interfere. Chance Adams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zabulón Carabajal having to make a save. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC Klavertje Vier from getting a goal against them. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trey Echols in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Chance Adams took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Zabulón Carabajal to make any attempt to save it. Zabulón Carabajal made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Chance Adams sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Claude Montens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Bearden came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zabulón Carabajal could save by the left post. Racing Miami Futbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
