Lech Blochowiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cruz Credo in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Marin in the 5th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Ergener came free, but Facundo Altamirano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arif Çelebi Ergener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Lech Blochowiak. Tours Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 27th minute Tours Football Club were awarded a corner. Guy Jourdan went to the cornerflag to take it. Ulysse Houssais made a great header on Tours Football Club's corner, it was just that Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano managed to reach the ball for a save. Arif Çelebi Ergener took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Facundo Altamirano. Facundo Altamirano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Peio got free with Lech Blochowiak in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Facundo Altamirano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Facundo Altamirano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th match minute, Tours Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Hernández to maneuver through the defense. If Godofredo Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Facundo Altamirano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustin Hamet in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Ceferino Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eder Llorente kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eder Llorente hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Mouzo came free, but Lech Blochowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustin Hamet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Facundo Altamirano made a huge save. In the 69th minute Cyrille Jenny suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 69 minutes, Victorino Txomin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Tours Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Txomin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Victorino Txomin hit a great ball. Facundo Altamirano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustin Hamet in the 71st minute of the match. Tours Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guy Jourdan in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Tours Football Club were awarded a corner. Guy Jourdan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Maravilla's goalie and right to Cyrille Jenny. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Maravilla's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nemanja Vidić hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrille Jenny in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Facundo Altamirano saved Maravilla from getting behind. The corner was taken by Guy Jourdan in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Guy Jourdan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Facundo Altamirano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustin Hamet in the 93rd minute of play. Facundo Altamirano came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tours Football Club's Faustin Hamet. But to his dismay, Faustin Hamet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tours Football Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
