When LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varennes's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Boone came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton. But to his dismay, Vince Easton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Vince Easton notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Varennes's Gilberto Boone. Gilberto Boone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Odonnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Octavio Ospetsu hit a great ball. When Varennes's Bernardo Goudreau in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25th minute Vince Easton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Boone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA DEL MONO's Vince Easton got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Odonnell came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Boone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Easton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Vince Easton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gilberto Boone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Gay in the 36th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Easton in the 40th minute of play. Vince Easton might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Boone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Easton ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vince Easton.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vince Easton was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute LA DEL MONO were awarded a corner. Elpidio Guillelmo went to the cornerflag to take it. Elpidio Guillelmo made a great header on LA DEL MONO's corner, it was just that Varennes's Gilberto Boone managed to reach the ball for a save. Fabio Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seth Luke in the 60th minute. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Goudreau in the 70th minute of play. Varennes's Hong Mosher was substituted for Ward Houde. Gilberto Boone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Easton, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Easton in the 79th minute of play. Gilberto Boone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Easton in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Higinio Botello got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Gilberto Boone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Easton, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Maurice Odonnell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Fabio Betadur made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Odonnell came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Varennes's Titus Pineda made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Betadur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Varennes's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LA DEL MONO had won, even though Varennes had held more of the ball.
