Kim Bolas scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Vidanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barrie Kerridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samet Özsahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Bizarrockzs FC's Juan Carlos Almada in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Erozan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Vidanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baran Erozan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ignacio Vidanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sliema Dragons FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Samet Özsahin made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Juan Carlos Almada took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Barrie Kerridge to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Cupial in the 57th minute of play forced Bizarrockzs FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Vidanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Juan Carlos Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barrie Kerridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Vidanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 61st minute of the match. Barrie Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Carlos Almada in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Bizarrockzs FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bror Browald hit a great ball. Ignacio Vidanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dejan Cassar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Baran Erozan went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Barrie Kerridge managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Bizarrockzs FC's Samet Özsahin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
