Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) U21 Kuwait's Masuod Al Jalahma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Otávio Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Meirelles in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mnawer Al Sharaf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes U21 Kuwait got a freekick which was hit by Masuod Al Jalahma. Marc Linz might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mnawer Al Sharaf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marc Linz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mnawer Al Sharaf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Meirelles in the 23rd minute of play. Cristóvão Campidelis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Dedê Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mnawer Al Sharaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Osama Al Azmi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Kuwait fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Eusébio Montenegro lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th minute Marc Linz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mnawer Al Sharaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mnawer Al Sharaf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Linz in the 89th minute of play. Mnawer Al Sharaf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Linz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. U21 Kuwait's Mnawer Al Sharaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Linz in the 96th minute of play.
