The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquin Phoenix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ksawery Witkowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Joaquin Phoenix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 17th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Jonathan Sammut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Witkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Mondaca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Magallanes booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Cumberbatch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Mondaca. Templars FC's Jack Nicholson was substituted for Evan Vancell. Bonifacio Turri lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute, one of Templars FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Templars FC. Guille Aravena shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márk Kovács in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ida Bagus Leal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Márk Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márk Kovács was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tomás Thompson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Apelqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Templars FC had played much better football throughout.
