Léon Monnet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Lester Serre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, Léon Monnet lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lester Serre. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Monnet got free with Lester Serre in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ivan Errando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomil Kajdasz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 minutes, Léon Monnet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herblay and the San Lorenzo de Sarandi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joël Willaume to maneuver through the defense. Léon Monnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lester Serre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Herblay's Dimitri Bougault slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lester Serre. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Léon Monnet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lester Serre made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 41st minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Herblay's corner Dimitri Bougault fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lester Serre quite easily take care of the ball. When Ivan Errando fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Sarandi's protests and gave Ivan Errando a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. 50 minutes into the game, one of San Lorenzo de Sarandi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 51st minute there was a penalty for Herblay. Léon Monnet stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lester Serre. 3-0. Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Herblay from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Antonin Dagorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léon Monnet in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lester Serre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Léon Monnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Camilo Mouricio was substituted for Lorenzo Jerrold. Herblay's Antonin Dagorne got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Herblay from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute of the match San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a corner. Herblay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Robert Smith to fire away a dangerous shot which Ludomil Kajdasz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Monnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Rosio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ludomil Kajdasz. That made the score 3-2 in the 78 minute of play. Lester Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léon Monnet's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Leonides Rosio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludomil Kajdasz having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Rosio. Lester Serre had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Léon Monnet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Herblay's Léon Monnet after 92 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 4-2. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Monnet in the 94th minute of play. Lester Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léon Monnet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Vasco Olarticoechea got a free kick in the 97th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 100th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
