In the 4th minute, Roman Eliseev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sverker Fanström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 7 played minutes Sanderlend got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Aggeliadis. In the 11th minute Roman Eliseev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Fanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksim Esipov in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Eliseev got free with Sverker Fanström in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Babbis Aggeliadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanderlend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Aggeliadis in the 22nd minute of play forced Крылья Советов's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Islam Šimić kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sanderlend's zone, Kutlay Umay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Fanström came out of the goal and Kutlay Umay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sanderlend's Luo Jun Feng got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Крылья Советов's Roman Eliseev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sverker Fanström. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Sverker Fanström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kutlay Umay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sverker Fanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Babbis Aggeliadis was the one to do the kick off. Sverker Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Ekhi in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goal looked a bit too open when Kutlay Umay came free, but Sverker Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maksim Esipov struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Sverker Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Крылья Советов. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Sanderlend's Babbis Aggeliadis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Sverker Fanström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksim Esipov, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Крылья Советов's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Крылья Советов from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Eliseev in the 82nd minute of play forced Sanderlend's goalkeeper Sverker Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sanderlend were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Крылья Советов's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luo Jun Feng took the corner. Shi Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Крылья Советов were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
