The corner led Sajones F.C.'s Conrad Airpoel to fire away a dangerous shot which Józef Wandzik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes, Zbyszko Walkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos 1984 NewDance and the Sajones F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sajones F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
