FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC ICEWIND DALE from getting a goal against them. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bai Cheng Kang hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Fernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to FC ICEWIND DALE's Ding Beckham getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 22nd minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Lüdimõis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuno Lüdimõis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Medeiros in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuno Lüdimõis saved FC ICEWIND DALE from getting behind. After 30 minutes, Geovani Medeiros made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Bai Cheng Kang threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC ICEWIND DALE's Erik Stor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 38th minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Lüdimõis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Fernando Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Walme was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Marinho got free with Aurelio Walme in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Fernando Marinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Aurelio Walme however easily saved by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Feng Yan came free, but Kuno Lüdimõis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Fernando Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kuno Lüdimõis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Feng Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. FC ICEWIND DALE made a substitution. Wincent Debowski replaced Boguslaw Zdeb. In the 89th minute FC ICEWIND DALE were awarded a corner. Erik Stor went to the cornerflag to take it. FC ICEWIND DALE's Patryk Ranowiecki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelio Walme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, Patryk Ranowiecki lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Aurelio Walme. The throw-in from Lucio Siekkötter in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC ICEWIND DALE's Walery Wolicki. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fully deserved thier win.
