In the 10thth minute of the game Fausto Montel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Roldan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Montel's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Fausto Montel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Roldan. Cuervos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Montel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Charles Teuma Castelletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alf Tempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Timo-Fabian Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapid Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo-Fabian Wolf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Montel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute Fausto Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Cuervos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Montel came free, but Evaristo Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fausto Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Montel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Evaristo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Montel in the 37th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Teuma Castelletti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Montel in the 59th minute of play. Fausto Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Charles Teuma Castelletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Tempel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuervos AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Concetto Lenzi in the 64th minute. The supporters of Rapid Wien booed when Cuervos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Sroki didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maximino Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Rapid Wien's Fausto Montel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evaristo Roldan. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. In the 91st minute of the match Rapid Wien got a corner. Cuervos AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timo-Fabian Wolf ran over to the corner to take the kick. Timo-Fabian Wolf made a great header on Rapid Wien's corner, it was just that Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Cuervos AFC booed when Rapid Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Reuter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Lenzi fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 97th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rapid Wien eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
