Kılıçalp Özpulat was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. Sebastián Torrico had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Eustaquio Turi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CD Boiro's zone, Edward Chaniago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perico Raya came out of the goal and Edward Chaniago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes CD Boiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Chaniago who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Edward Chaniago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Boiro's Perico Raya did a great save. In the 32nd minute, Yaman Akar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perico Raya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Yaman Akar came free, but Perico Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Turi got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico got control of the ball when Eustaquio Turi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Max Stevens made the kick off in the second half. Perico Raya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Stevens in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Stevens got free with Perico Raya in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidiu Şerbănescu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Max Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GreenUnited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Stevens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Şerbănescu in the 77th minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CD Boiro's Perico Raya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CD Boiro from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Qiao Qing Xiao got a free kick in the 80th minute. Perico Raya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Stevens in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Edgar Figari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, GreenUnited's Max Stevens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Perico Raya. Perico Raya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
