Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jelte Bleiswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jelte Bleiswijk scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kıvanç Yücesan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Rodríguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
