In the 14th minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karsten Zentner in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó saved Urko FC from getting behind. Leonel Gamus made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lino Paez immediately put the ball in play. 18 minutes into the match, Urko FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karsten Zentner. In the 26th minute of the game Leonel Gamus made a throw-in which Alonzo Rito played forward. FC Germania München's attentive Chi-Chi Riquelme managed to snatch the ball when Leonel Gamus made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Germania München's Karsten Zentner got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Karsten Zentner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Germania München's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karsten Zentner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karsten Zentner got free with Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ludger Krug came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Germania München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludger Krug couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Tomasz Presch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Alonzo Rito made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Karsten Zentner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Germania München fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. FC Germania München's Radu Dragușin was substituted for Joost Deville. 62 minutes in the game Leonel Gamus did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alonzo Rito. After a defensive mix-up in Urko FC's zone, Silvester Overesch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó came out of the goal and Silvester Overesch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Zentner in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Gamus to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Urko FC's zone, Ludger Krug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó came out of the goal and Ludger Krug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Leonel Gamus threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Germania München's Ludger Krug quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Karsten Zentner put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó. Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Zentner, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 95th minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo-Nicolas Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Germania München's Karsten Zentner got a free kick in the 96th minute. Urko FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
