When SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jelte Bleiswijk succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jelte Bleiswijk in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kıvanç Yücesan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jelte Bleiswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes, Mario Galnares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pfullendorf and the AEK S.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes SC Pfullendorf got a freekick which was hit by Mario Galnares. In the 43rd minute, Argyris Zagorakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Zagorakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the AEK S.C defense, Miguel Rodríguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thanasis Koltsidas. The AEK S.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thanasis Koltsidas should have stopped the shot. Thanasis Koltsidas made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when 彭森银 sent off a good shot on target. The SC Pfullendorf supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Pfullendorf would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
