Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Czubski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Kazimierz Chodzinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Kuskatan C.F. and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Real Kuskatan C.F. defense, Sven-Edvin Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Uranga. The Real Kuskatan C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Uranga should have stopped the shot. Sven-Edvin Jansson scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Uranga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Thierry Henry made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Czubski in the 69th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Uranga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Izydor Czubski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nery Pumpido. That made the score 4-1 after 95 minutes of play.
