Dilan Bobet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivien Contant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Charuel came free, but Dilan Bobet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Pasquier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The throw-in from Bruno Ziani in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 France's Maxence Cunin. Dilan Bobet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Charuel in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bruno Ziani hit a great ball. After 56 minutes, Pacôme Marx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 France and the Chaponnay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danny Pasquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Le Moullec in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vivien Contant came free, but Dilan Bobet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, U21 France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martial Hess to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the U21 France defense, Arthur Rannou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Pasquier. In the 85thth minute of the game Renaud Houzet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 France's Danny Pasquier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 France's Danny Pasquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Rannou in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, U21 France's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Moyon came free, but Danny Pasquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in U21 France's zone, Renaud Houzet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Pasquier came out of the goal and Renaud Houzet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaponnay FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
