When Edmundo Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KoLiber's protests and gave Edmundo Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute Vinícius Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Rydzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Vinícius Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a little luck, KoLiber's Miromir Rydzewski got control of the ball when Alfredo Rocchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KoLiber booed when Xv de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Ivanschitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miromir Rydzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
