With a left leg Luan Lopes saved SAN DIEGO from getting behind. After some careless play in the SAN DIEGO defense, Antony Bruno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luan Lopes. The SAN DIEGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luan Lopes should have stopped the shot. SAN DIEGO's Luan Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Bruno in the 16th minute of play. If Antony Bruno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Bruno in the 17th minute of play forced SAN DIEGO's goalkeeper Luan Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Zorro Negro getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Daniel Pancu hit a great ball. The referee ignored La Zorro Negro's protests and gave Fabrício De León a yellow card for diving instead. Fabrício De León hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. La Zorro Negro's Rigoberto Piearres was substituted for Antony Bruno. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After some careless play in the SAN DIEGO defense, Rigoberto Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luan Lopes. The SAN DIEGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luan Lopes should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the game, La Zorro Negro's Rigoberto Piearres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Rigoberto Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. Rigoberto Piearres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luan Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, La Zorro Negro's Rigoberto Piearres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Rigoberto Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 75th minute of play forced SAN DIEGO's goalkeeper Luan Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luan Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pancu in the 79th minute of the match. Luan Lopes came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Zorro Negro's Rigoberto Piearres. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Zorro Negro fully deserved thier win.
