The tension between the SAN DIEGO and the La Zorro Negro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SAN DIEGO's Agustin Tomi got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antony Bruno in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Lopes saved SAN DIEGO from getting behind. Antony Bruno scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luan Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Antony Bruno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luan Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Bruno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antony Bruno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luan Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by SAN DIEGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdo de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time La Zorro Negro's players had a chance to rest. Radomir Werra charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Werra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Antony Bruno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN DIEGO's Luan Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ice Stefanov hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. SAN DIEGO's Luan Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Bruno in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, La Zorro Negro's Antony Bruno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Artan Sitnikovski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, SAN DIEGO's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Bruno came free, but Luan Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Antony Bruno suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 35 minutes into the game, Florencio Urdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN DIEGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Zorro Negro the free kick. La Zorro Negro's Rigoberto Piearres was substituted for Antony Bruno. The supporters of La Zorro Negro booed when SAN DIEGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SAN DIEGO's zone, Valdo de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Lopes came out of the goal and Valdo de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Piearres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Lopes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 41st minute of play forced SAN DIEGO's goalkeeper Luan Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Piearres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Luan Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Piearres to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Rigoberto Piearres took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Luan Lopes to make any attempt to save it. Rigoberto Piearres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Lopes having to make a save. Menduh Georgievski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. José Luis Heidemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Rigoberto Piearres made a precise shot to the right of Luan Lopes. SAN DIEGO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Rigoberto Piearres was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luan Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Diguinho Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rigoberto Piearres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Lopes having to make a save. Luan Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 76th minute. Luan Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Daniel Pancu in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 85 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Piearres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luan Lopes. Rigoberto Piearres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 88 minutes into the match, SAN DIEGO's goalkeeper Luan Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Piearres. 92 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Piearres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luan Lopes. SAN DIEGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Piearres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9.
