The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mo Yi Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led San Lorenzo's Gigi Penaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogdan Stelea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Mo Yi Sang came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mo Yi Sang couldn't finish the play. Cuervo Loco FC's Bogdan Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute San Lorenzo were awarded a corner. Gigi Penaru went to the cornerflag to take it. After 18 minutes of play, Cuervo Loco FC's Huang Kang Zhen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Carlomagno was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Lorenzo's Osvaldo Llorienzo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Boleslaw Puszynski, made in the 21st minute of the game. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. Matias Carlomagno made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Huang Kang Zhen sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mo Yi Sang in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Stelea saved Cuervo Loco FC from getting behind. After 40 minutes Cuervo Loco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gigi Penaru who took care of the corner kick. 43 minutes into the game, Mo Yi Sang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bogdan Stelea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Tab, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Cuervo Loco FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Tab. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes in the game, Lautaro Martínez dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Llorienzo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Osvaldo Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Luix in the 61st minute of the match. Severo Santos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 65th minute Tiburcio Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Mo Yi Sang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match San Lorenzo got a corner. Cuervo Loco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gigi Penaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gigi Penaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bogdan Stelea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Yi Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mo Yi Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Stelea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Yi Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Carlomagno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Luix went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Kang Zhen came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuervo Loco FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
