Matias Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huang Kang Zhen in the 12th minute of play. If Lautaro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute Huang Kang Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Mo Yi Sang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Tab came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Huang Kang Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes Cuervo Loco FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Tab. 45 minutes into the game, Mo Yi Sang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuervo Loco FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yi Sang. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mo Yi Sang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huang Kang Zhen. In the 57th minute, Cuervo Loco FC's Agustin Tab dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 60 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Martínez came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Yi Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo's attentive Victor Otsando managed to snatch the ball when Zé Pedro Coelho made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno got control of the ball when Huang Kang Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huang Kang Zhen. In the 82nd minute, Martin Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno got control of the ball when Huang Kang Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Lorenzo's Kara Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Francis Jamieson, made in the 85th minute of the game. When Mo Yi Sang came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mo Yi Sang couldn't finish the play. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huang Kang Zhen in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cuervo Loco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
