In the 15th minute, Virgílio Teves made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Stelea. Cuervo Loco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cuervo Loco FC's Bogdan Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Teves in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's Huang Kang Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ignatius Casasola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Martínez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Laércio Rebocho hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Lautaro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuervo Loco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some careless play in the Garanhão do SUL defense, Tiburcio Luix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignatius Casasola. The Garanhão do SUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignatius Casasola should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Le Chen came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match, Akis Kefallinos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bogdan Stelea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 48th minute of the match Garanhão do SUL got a corner. Cuervo Loco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salvador Lousada ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Garanhão do SUL's corner Salvador Lousada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogdan Stelea quite easily take care of the ball. The Garanhão do SUL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cuervo Loco FC were winning 1-3.

Edgar Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tiburcio Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervo Loco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Luix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignatius Casasola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Luix in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huang Kang Zhen got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola got control of the ball when Huang Kang Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Tab in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervo Loco FC's zone, Virgílio Teves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Stelea came out of the goal and Virgílio Teves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cuervo Loco FC booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Lobato didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Fábio Lobato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garanhão do SUL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Huang Kang Zhen scored to the left of an out of position Ignatius Casasola, making the score, 1-4. Ignatius Casasola made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Huang Kang Zhen sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Agustin Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Rebocho. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cuervo Loco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
