Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Basualdo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Phoenix Roşu in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Marc Stenberg. Bartolo Basualdo took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lilko Dúrov. Lilko Dúrov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Toshko Mihailov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermann Hesse. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Bartolo Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Bartolo Basualdo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ФК Созополи's Lilko Dúrov. Lilko Dúrov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Nils Gielis got a free kick in the 21st minute. The ФК Созополи fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toshko Mihailov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hermann Hesse made a huge save. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cleto Trasagua hit a great ball. Phoenix Roşu made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Marc Stenberg. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Toshko Mihailov made the kick off in the second half. Toshko Mihailov might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermann Hesse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toshko Mihailov ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toshko Mihailov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toshko Mihailov in the 57th minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Tibor Nyilasi replaced Cris Ronaldo. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Joao Montanez replaced Nils Gielis. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa was substituted for Bartolo Basualdo. Erruki Velarroa scored 2-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lilko Dúrov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ФК Созополи's Samuil Bozev was substituted for Jean-Sébastien Nedellec. 86 minutes into the match, Tibor Nyilasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lilko Dúrov. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Erruki Velarroa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lilko Dúrov. The goal made the score 2-5. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind ФК Созополи's goalkeeper Lilko Dúrov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Zdravko Artúkov came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Popolizio FBC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
