Villa di Molvena FC's Edoardo Mauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Villa di Molvena FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FK Novi Pazar's zone, Alexis Sánchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iturri Zalaca came out of the goal and Alexis Sánchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexis Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iturri Zalaca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manojlo Medenica in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Mirosavljević got free with Edoardo Mauro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes, Anfilogino Di Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa di Molvena FC and the FK Novi Pazar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Villa di Molvena FC's Anfilogino Di Santo got a free kick in the 28th minute. A hard shot by Nedeljko Virijević from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Edoardo Mauro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute Alexis Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iturri Zalaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodoljub Todorovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edoardo Mauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kusti Rääk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manojlo Medenica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FK Novi Pazar's Rodoljub Todorovski got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FK Novi Pazar getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Željko Janković hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manojlo Medenica in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Alexis Sánchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iturri Zalaca. FK Novi Pazar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Sánchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bo Ekman hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FK Novi Pazar's Rastko Divjak got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Alexis Sánchez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iturri Zalaca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 72nd match minute, Villa di Molvena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Pacella to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Mauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manojlo Medenica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Fabiano Mattei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Novi Pazar's Iturri Zalaca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alexis Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa di Molvena FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
