Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Joaquin Hug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vacid Nefer in the 9th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Hug was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Español's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Deportivo Español's Joaquin Hug to fire away a dangerous shot which Dacian Nițescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 16 played minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Hyvä Suomi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vacid Nefer got free with Dacian Nițescu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Hug hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Club Deportivo Español's Matias Chayo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freddy Sazon in the 22 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Chayo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Chayo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Español's zone, Don Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turgut Talha came out of the goal and Don Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Don Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Turgut Talha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Cabezon in the 31st minute of play. Alfredo Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC booed when Club Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Nițescu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Vacid Nefer sent off a good shot on target. After the first half AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vacid Nefer to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Kris Chamberlain. When AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Don Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Cabezon couldn't finish the play. Vacid Nefer struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Dacian Nițescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Español. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Samuel Mambru was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. When AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Podador Raheiro in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 94th minute, Podador Raheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turgut Talha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
