In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Juan Musso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Skager in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Musso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dochko Rodev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Bieito in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Emilio Guillelmo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central FC's zone, Kaj Skager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Musso came out of the goal and Kaj Skager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Musso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Trump in the 28th minute of play. But to his dismay, Kaj Skager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Club Atletico Los Andes were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mogel Izcaray made the kick off in the second half. If Mogel Izcaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 61st minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Dochko Rodev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Central FC made a substitution. Estevão Bessa replaced Ezequiel Maldonado. Rosario Central FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Club Atletico Los Andes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mogel Izcaray took the corner. Dochko Rodev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Central FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mogel Izcaray in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Bieito came free, but Dochko Rodev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Musso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Skager's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Gervasio Bieito got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 91 played minutes Rosario Central FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Bieito. The supporters of Rosario Central FC booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Peli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Rosario Central FC defense, Kaj Skager kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Musso. The Rosario Central FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Musso should have stopped the shot. Rosario Central FC's Orçun Yersel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orlando Inautzi in the 97 minute of the game. Club Atletico Los Andes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
