Club Atletico Los Andes's Donald Trump was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ascencio Sotelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Spor Las Huevas's Caio Hornilla was substituted for Urtzi Zamorano. Club Atletico Los Andes's Victoriano Loreto was substituted for Tomáš Lamačka. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Orlando Inautzi charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Inautzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spor Las Huevas booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Dochko Rodev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lartaun Riera. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico Los Andes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
