Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Radoslaw Zagrodny came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the BRUGGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoslaw Zagrodny couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Gianni Balla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Guo Wen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute BRUGGE FC were awarded a corner. Mahmut Aurelio went to the cornerflag to take it. Rui Avelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Fafinski having to interfere. Dinu Bocu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Shi Guo Wen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shi Guo Wen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Rick in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hamburg Fighters's Brandon Rick got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Avelar in the 21st minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Fafinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslaw Zagrodny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaw Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Zagrodny in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, BRUGGE FC's Shi Guo Wen got control of the ball when Dinu Bocu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Balla got free with Shi Guo Wen in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaw Fafinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Zagrodny, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gianluca Balla came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Shi Guo Wen could save by the left post. Shi Guo Wen made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gianluca Balla sent off a good shot on target. BRUGGE FC's Shi Guo Wen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianni Balla in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the BRUGGE FC defense, Brandon Rick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shi Guo Wen. The BRUGGE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shi Guo Wen should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gianni Balla came free, but Shi Guo Wen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Dinu Bocu made a precise shot to the right of Shi Guo Wen. BRUGGE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 47th minute, Gianni Balla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shi Guo Wen. The goal made the score 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 53rdth minute of the game Gianni Balla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRUGGE FC's Shi Guo Wen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustaw Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Radoslaw Zagrodny sent off a good shot on target. Gustaw Fafinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Avelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of BRUGGE FC booed when Hamburg Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Obuchowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BRUGGE FC's zone, Gianni Balla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shi Guo Wen came out of the goal and Gianni Balla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helder Cadanes. Gianni Balla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shi Guo Wen. BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helder Cadanes in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Fafinski saved Hamburg Fighters from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helder Cadanes in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaw Fafinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes Hamburg Fighters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mahmut Aurelio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mahmut Aurelio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaw Fafinski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hamburg Fighters's Gustaw Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Avelar in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Balla in the 91st minute of play forced BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper Shi Guo Wen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Hamburg Fighters were the better team. Hamburg Fighters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
