The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Carlos Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITIO CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guo Ling Nan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Preslav Famparski came free, but Zé Gato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. THE CLUB's Guo Ling Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Garcia in the 10th minute of play. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mincho Robledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to THE CLUB getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Velyo Belutov hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mincho Robledo got free with Zé Gato in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leocadio Hebia. 27 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Mincho Robledo came free, but Zé Gato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leocadio Hebia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, THE CLUB's Preslav Famparski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Gato. Zé Gato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 46th match minute, SITIO CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mincho Robledo to make the kick off. Zé Gato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leocadio Hebia in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute THE CLUB were awarded a corner. Lino Galindo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SITIO CITY's goalie and right to Leocadio Hebia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SITIO CITY's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Zé Gato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leocadio Hebia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mincho Robledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preslav Famparski in the 74th minute of play forced SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
