If Ong Bongo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Bociany SA's goal looked a bit too open when Ong Bongo came free, but Oswaldo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Veli Bengisoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9thth minute of the game Ong Bongo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bociany SA's Oswaldo Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Bemowo's Dariusz Bielejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bemowo from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Boban Fett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Bielejewski was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Boban Fett fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ong Bongo in the 16th minute of play forced Bociany SA's goalkeeper Oswaldo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ong Bongo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute FC Bemowo were awarded a corner. Jan Lewandowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jan Lewandowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bociany SA's Oswaldo Ramos did a great save. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bociany SA's goalkeeper Oswaldo Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Ong Bongo made a precise shot to the right of Oswaldo Ramos. Bociany SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. FC Bemowo's Ong Bongo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, FC Bemowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Seyfi Bozyiğit to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bektaş Veli Bengisoy in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Ong Bongo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boban Fett in the 39th minute of the match. Oswaldo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ong Bongo in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Bemowo's Dariusz Bielejewski got control of the ball when Severo Paton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ong Bongo to make the kick off. FC Bemowo's Dariusz Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Veli Bengisoy in the 54th minute of play. After 58 played minutes FC Bemowo got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Seyfi Bozyiğit. Dariusz Bielejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Szczepan Fiszer came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FC Bemowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szczepan Fiszer couldn't finish the play. FC Bemowo made a substitution. Sol Munoz replaced Waldemar Domaracki. Slawomir Przybyciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Ramos made a huge save. After some careless play in the FC Bemowo defense, Anselmo Ganix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski. The FC Bemowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Bielejewski should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boban Fett in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dariusz Bielejewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oswaldo Ramos made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Türkeş Kadem sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Bektaş Veli Bengisoy put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski. 88 minutes into the match, FC Bemowo's Slawomir Przybyciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Bemowo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
