But to his dismay, 谢峰建 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 谢峰建 in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levente Végh got free with Aleksander Eriksrud in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Adamantios Geronimidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Eriksrud was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢峰建 in the 32nd minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Breixo Bouzas. In the 38th minute, Levente Végh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Viorel Puric got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

51 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when José Serrizuela came free, but Aleksander Eriksrud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 谢峰建 couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
