Elton Brewster was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 23rd minute, Justus Lintorf made a precise shot to the right of Matthew Benjamin. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 87th minute Wiley Enriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after C. A. Pipon Pipon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miki Moco took the corner. USA's Miki Moco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jannes Ruttens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. USA's Matthew Benjamin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm McIntosh in the 90th minute of play. After 93 played minutes C. A.
