Eugenio Manfredi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Petrulean's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Nicolae Petrulean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Petrulean got free with Eugenio Manfredi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Eugenio Manfredi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Petrulean. In the 9th minute of the match Vaccean Warriors got a corner. Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Telo Papo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Hieronim Kluska heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Panza in the 13th minute of play forced Vaccean Warriors's goalkeeper Dante Chapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Vaccean Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Dante Chapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Chapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Panza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hibai in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Fedele Panza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Panza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Chapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaccean Warriors's Nicolae Petrulean slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eugenio Manfredi. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Eugenio Manfredi made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Nicolae Petrulean sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Hibai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vaccean Warriors's goalkeeper Dante Chapel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco Romino. Dante Chapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Panza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fedele Panza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Chapel was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Dante Chapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Ström in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the game Anthony Genovesi made a throw-in which Flavio Morelli played forward. A collision led to Vaccean Warriors getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Telo Papo hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Vaccean Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Dante Chapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Manfredi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Petrulean in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Fedele Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Chapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Nicolae Petrulean notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi. Eugenio Manfredi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Vaccean Warriors's Pericles Harroyo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dante Chapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Martini in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Tano Di Paolo came free, but Eugenio Manfredi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Telo Papo was slow to take the kick. During this time Vaccean Warriors's players had a chance to rest. Tano Di Paolo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dante Chapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Panza in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tano Di Paolo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Manfredi saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vaccean Warriors were victorious despite being under pressure from Lunatics of Arianrhod for much of the match.
