An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Mandrak in the 7th minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Mambru Puertas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Kimmich kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Duško Zambata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duško Zambata in the 17th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Duško Zambata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AJ Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duško Zambata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Mello. When AJ Juventus FC's Duško Zambata in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes in the game Luiz Fernando Mota did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Décio Antonio. In the 40th minute, Duško Zambata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilmer Gallo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of AJ Juventus FC booed when Retumbante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Décio Antonio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mambru Puertas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Wilmer Gallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duško Zambata's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Duško Zambata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Mello came free, but Mambru Puertas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilmer Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duško Zambata, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Duško Zambata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilmer Gallo. That made the score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. Eurico Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mambru Puertas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Mandrak in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Antonio came free, but Mambru Puertas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eurico Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Retumbante FC's protests and gave Eurico Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. Eurico Galvão hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Duško Zambata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AJ Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duško Zambata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Reno in the 86th minute of play. Damian Zahonero struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wilmer Gallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AJ Juventus FC.
