Andrea Di Fazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Refugio in the 3rd minute of play. When Antonello Caccia fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barboni United's protests and gave Antonello Caccia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Antonello Caccia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Luro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Barboni United booed when Luro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Luro's Juan Quinteros got control of the ball when Anthony Baruffa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Anthony Baruffa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barboni United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Baruffa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by Anthony Baruffa from a close distance when the talented Juan Quinteros managed to make a qualified save. Luro's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Luro's zone, Anfilogino De Nardis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Quinteros came out of the goal and Anfilogino De Nardis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Amos Pennetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Barboni United's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Lalla came free, but Andrea Di Fazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Saverio Lalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andrea Di Fazio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrea Di Fazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Lalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Barboni United's Bianco Vasco got a free kick in the 41st minute. Barboni United's Andrea Di Fazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Cuartio in the 44th minute of play. Andrea Di Fazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anthony Baruffa was the one to do the kick off. Saverio Lalla struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Andrea Di Fazio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luro. Filomeno Cuartio's late challenge caught a Barboni United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Cuartio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Luro getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Filomeno Cuartio hit a great ball. Bianco Vasco, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 64th minute, Filomeno Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Di Fazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Refugio in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Anthony Baruffa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Quinteros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 71st minute Anthony Baruffa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Pennetta in the 78th minute of the match. Saverio Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Andrea Di Fazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Baruffa in the 83rd minute of play forced Luro's goalkeeper Juan Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Baruffa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Barboni United defense, Paulino Gaufred kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Di Fazio. The Barboni United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Di Fazio should have stopped the shot. When Barboni United's Anthony Baruffa in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute, Filomeno Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Saverio Lalla made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Di Fazio. Barboni United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
