Arnulfo Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vagues's Vicente Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Ciceron in the 7th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Carrizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Calvino to maneuver through the defense. Donato Gonsalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hermengildo Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Donato Gonsalve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hermengildo Pero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Edelmiro Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Gonsalve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Pero having to make a save. Arnulfo Cefero charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Cefero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnulfo Cefero hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Laureano Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vicente Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vagues's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Joel Ciceron scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Dalmai, making the score, 1-1. Laureano Jeraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Vicente Dalmai made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Silvano Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 49 minutes, Vicente Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrizal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Cefero to make the kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Donato Gonsalve elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Guillermo Furman charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Furman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Ciceron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Joel Ciceron sped through Vagues's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Dalmai. After a defensive mix-up in Vagues's zone, Joel Ciceron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Dalmai came out of the goal and Joel Ciceron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Vagues's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ciceron came free, but Vicente Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Gonsalve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Pero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Carrizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Calvino to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrizal's goalkeeper Hermengildo Pero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Arnulfo Cefero came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vagues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Cefero couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes of play, Carrizal's Joel Ciceron made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Dalmai was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Vagues's Arnulfo Cefero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermengildo Pero. Hermengildo Pero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
