Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Freddy Refugio made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Luro's Freddy Refugio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Pero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Jeraldo in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Joel Ciceron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Quinteros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Saverio Lalla came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Lalla couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Joel Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quinteros having to interfere. When Edelmiro Calvino fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizal's protests and gave Edelmiro Calvino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Luro booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Edelmiro Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Pero having to interfere. If Laureano Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luro's goalkeeper Juan Quinteros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Carrizal getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Silvio Gomez hit a great ball. When Freddy Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Refugio couldn't finish the play. After the first half Carrizal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The crowd rose to their feet as Carrizal's Joel Ciceron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juan Quinteros. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. Vicente Olo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Laureano Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Cuartio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Saverio Lalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luro and the Carrizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saverio Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Baltasar Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Juan Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Calvino in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play Carrizal's Edelmiro Calvino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 70th minute, Edelmiro Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Carrizal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Luro:s goal. If Laureano Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quinteros having to interfere. Arsenio George's late challenge caught a Carrizal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio George helped the player get up and apologised. Arsenio George hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Laureano Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Jeraldo in the 89th minute of play forced Luro's goalkeeper Juan Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quinteros having to interfere. Carrizal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
