Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonides Geofredo made the kick off which started today's match. Thomas Geske's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Mariano Bidun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. RBL were furious when Marc Heimann was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of RBL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Belgrano:s goal. Oscar Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Ixona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Belgrano's Leonides Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Sudhoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Peter Sudhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Ralf Katzer fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RBL's protests and gave Ralf Katzer a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes RBL got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Katzer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ixona in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Bidun saved Belgrano from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Julius Schlacher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julius Schlacher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilhelm Rittel kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leonides Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Peter Sudhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Bidun having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Bemabe. Gaston Ixona had several of the Belgrano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Mariano Bidun as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ixona in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Bidun saved Belgrano from getting behind. After 44 minutes of play, RBL's Gaston Ixona made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Bidun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Erubiel Ieltxu got a free kick in the 48th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Gaston Ixona made the kick off in the second half. Julius Schlacher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Belgrano defense, Gaston Ixona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Bidun. The Belgrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Bidun should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the game, Gaston Ixona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Mariano Bidun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Bidun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Krützfeld in the 64th minute of the match. RBL's Ulrich Krützfeld pulled a muscle in his leg after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Jacinto Bemabe got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Gaston Ixona put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Bidun. After 78 minutes of play, RBL's Gaston Ixona made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Bidun was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ixona in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Bidun saved Belgrano from getting behind. Julius Schlacher might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Bidun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julius Schlacher ran back to his position shaking his head. After 87th play minutes Gaston Ixona shot 7-2, a short shot which went by Mariano Bidun and just under the crossbar into goal. Aaron Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Julius Schlacher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Bidun. Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julius Schlacher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgrano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RBL.
