After having played for 4 minutes, Pascual Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 9th minute Arnulfo Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Bidun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vagues's Cecilio Quirze suffered a concussion in the 11th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Erubiel Ieltxu was shown his second yellow card after 11 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Erubiel Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Cefero in the 13th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Mariano Bidun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vagues booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Vagues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicente Dalmai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vagues's Vicente Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Feliz in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Pascual Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Feliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Dalmai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belgrano's Mariano Bidun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano from getting a goal against them. Belgrano's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
