Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Epifanio Millano made the kick off which started today's match. Saverio Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Epifanio Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Lalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cecilio Quirze fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vagues's protests and gave Cecilio Quirze a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vagues's Cecilio Quirze got a free kick in the 13th minute. Arsenio George, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luro's Juan Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Cefero in the 16th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Vagues got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Belasko. Freddy Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Dalmai having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Freddy Refugio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Dalmai. Freddy Refugio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Epifanio Millano came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Vagues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Millano couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Luro's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Millano came free, but Juan Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulino Gaufred fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luro's protests and gave Paulino Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Luro got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Gaufred. Arnulfo Cefero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juan Quinteros firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 57 played minutes Vagues got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Furman. When Freddy Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Refugio couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Freddy Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Vagues's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Lalla came free, but Vicente Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Dalmai came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Luro's Saverio Lalla. But to his dismay, Saverio Lalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Juan Quinteros made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Arnulfo Cefero sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Luro's Juan Quinteros got control of the ball when Epifanio Millano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Luro's goalkeeper Juan Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Cefero. Isaias Niguel hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. After 99 played minutes, Vagues's Silvano Elija shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Quinteros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vagues reached it. Luro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
