Uspallata's Silvano Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Derwin in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Oier got free with Silvano Bastian in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Teobaldo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudacita AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abelardo Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. After 81 minutes of play, Ciudacita AFC's Miguel Maria made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Maria during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uspallata booed when Ciudacita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciudacita AFC's Abelardo Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciudacita AFC played a much better game than Uspallata and deserved their victory. The Uspallata players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
