After a rather tough play, RBL's Philipp Wannemaker got a free kick in the 6th minute. Peter Sudhoff was a little too slow when Tomáš Švajlen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute, Gaston Ixona made a precise shot to the right of Martin Boroš. Galácticos Bajkalská's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Martin Boroš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Ixona in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of RBL booed when Galácticos Bajkalská was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Kriváň didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Tužák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibor Tužák scored 3-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Sudhoff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Thomas Geske had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Gaston Ixona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Boroš was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 36th minute Gaston Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Boroš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibor Tužák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Boroš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Geske, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes Galácticos Bajkalská's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Geske who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to RBL getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Julius Schlacher hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, RBL's Julius Schlacher fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Martin Boroš was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 46th minute, Julius Schlacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Boroš was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Ixona was the one to do the kick off. Julius Schlacher hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Tibor Tužák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galácticos Bajkalská's attentive Samo Valentík managed to snatch the ball when Florian Grond made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Geske got free with Martin Boroš in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, RBL's goal looked a bit too open when Bohdan Kočiš came free, but Peter Sudhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Boroš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. RBL were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Galácticos Bajkalská's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Geske took the corner. The corner ended in Julius Schlacher almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galácticos Bajkalská's Martin Boroš did a great save. With his leg Martin Boroš managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when RBL's Gaston Ixona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the match, Galácticos Bajkalská's goalkeeper Martin Boroš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julius Schlacher. Galácticos Bajkalská's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Gaston Ixona scored to the left of an out of position Martin Boroš, making the score, 3-4. In the 95th minute, RBL's Gaston Ixona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Boroš. Martin Boroš yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. RBL's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
